To Igloo With Love

To all of Igloo's readers and fans, thanks for following her canine hijinx over the years. She hasn't blogged for awhile because she's been busy living large - like only Igloo can do. And because all good things must come to an end, we wanted to share that she passed over the rainbow bridge last night. As her faithful staff, we put together a snapshot of her wonderful life to share with all of you. Thanks for being part of her journey. :-)

Snow day!

There are very few things I like more than food, sleeping on down comforters and a good belly rub, but playing in the snow ranks right up there. Please excuse my rookie videographer - he's still in training. Let it snow!

I Need Me Some Greens

To my loyal and burgeoning number of readers and viewers, please pardon the brief departure from my usual witty banter and more typical video dispatches.

As you'll see from the evidence below, I wanted to document the harrassment I continue to receive when simply trying to consume my daily allowance of 'greens'. Ironically, one of my staff who shall remain nameless (you know who you are), regularly takes shots of wheat grass, adds 'tasty' whole food green powder to their fancy smoothies, and otherwise tries to get their greens without actually eating any real food. Whereas I, simply try to chow the old fashioned way.

That being said, I present "Exhibit A" below. Please contact my staff via email, phone or text to lodge your objections to this truly inhumane treatment.

The Art of the Bull Rush

In honor of my late sister Nellie who loved to 'bull rush' the staff when exiting the car, I present my spin on this under-utilized tactic while leaving the dock at the Kirkland boat launch.

A girl and her balls...

I'll admit it. I'm obsessed with tennis balls. I could chase them all day long, then get up the next day and do it all over again. This shot includes some of the more special balls that I've collected from around town. Places like the elementary school, tennis courts and the beach are money spots when it comes to finding a stray ball. The staff hits them back and forth in the backyard with a golf club. I love to 'tag' every single one after it is hit. This is nirvana, my friends...

The relatives come for a visit

You might remember my post from a few x-mases ago, where I blogged about my cousin, Rocket, a cattle dog who lives outside of Boise, ID. Rocket's staff came to visit my staff last weekend and we had a great 'ol time! The boys pitched a massive tent in the backyard, which is a completely new thing for me. So I did what I do best - I investigated the situation. The tent even had a doggie door, but alas, my staff couldn't nab a photo of me going in or out of it because it freaked me out completely and I decided to use the front door instead. The tent aside, Rocket's staff was exceptional. They played with me, fed me and doted over me the way that my staff does. Now that's what family does for each other, if ya know what I'm sayin....
